主讲人简介/Biography:

 李超忠,1988年中国科技大学应用化学系本科毕业。1993年于中科院上海有机化学研究所获得理学博士学位。1994–1998年在美国衣阿华州立大学化学系从事博士后研究。1999年回中科院上海有机化学研究所工作。2000年起任研究员、课题组长。同时任上海科技大学特聘教授,中国科技大学兼职博士生导师,华中师范大学兼职教授入选中科院“百人计划”(1999),获国家杰出青年基金(2003),入选中科院“优秀百人计划”(2003),获国务院政府特殊津贴(2006),入选上海市“领军人才”(2010),入选科技部重点领域创新团队负责人(2019),入选国家万人计划科技创新领军人才(2020)。

Dr. Chaozhong Li got his B.S at Department of Applied Chemistry, University of Science and Technology of China in 1988. In 1993, he obtained his Ph.D at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry. He did his postdoctoral research at Department of Chemistry, Iowa State University, Ames, IA, USA during 1994 to 1998. In 1999, he joined Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry and was promoted as professor and principle investigator in 2000. Now he is also Special-term professor of Shanghai Tech University, Ph.D supervisor (part-time) of University of Science and Technology of China, and professor (part-time) of Central China Normal University. His honors and awards include: “Hundreds of Talent” Recipient, Chinese Academy of Sciences (1999); “Outstanding Youth Fund” Recipient, National Natural Science Foundation of China (2003); “Outstanding Hundreds of Talent” Recipient, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2003); The State Government Special Subsidy (2006); “Shanghai Leading Talent” Award (2010); He was selected as the leader of the innovation team in the key fields of the Ministry of Science and Technology (2019), and as the leader of the scientific and technological innovation of the National Ten Thousand Talents Program (2020).

讲座摘要/Abstract:

含氟化合物在医药、农药和材料等领域都有着非常重要的用途。因此,将氟原子或氟烷基(如三氟甲基)选择性地引入有机分子是有机氟化学的核心内容。然而,经典的方法往往局限于亲核和亲电氟化(或三氟甲基化)以及三氟甲基自由基对不饱和键的加成。李超忠课题组则将自由基化学与氟化学相结合,在国际上率先开展了自由基的氟化和三氟甲基化反应研究,并使其成为有机化学的研究热点。

Organofluorine compounds have found widespread applications in pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and materials science. Selective introduction of fluorine atoms or fluoroalkyl groups (such as trifluoromethyl groups) into organic molecules is a key research area of organofluorine chemistry. However, traditional methods are typically limited to nucleophilic or electrophilic fluorination (or trifluoromethylation) or CF3 radical addition to unsaturated moieties. Pioneered by the Li group, the merging of free radical chemistry with organofluorine chemistry has enabled the successful development of radical fluorination and trifluoromethylation strategies, which is now a hot topic in organic chemistry.
