翟宏斌,江苏扬中人,1985年获北京大学学士学位,1988年获协和医科大学/中国医学科学院硕士学位,1995年获美国俄亥俄州立大学有机化学博士学位,随后在俄亥俄州立大学和加利福尼亚大学伯克利分校从事博士后研究。2000年回国后加入中科院上海有机化学研究所,2006年获得国家杰出青年科学基金支持;2010年受聘为兰州大学“萃英学者”特聘教授,兼任功能有机分子化学国家重点实验室主任;2015年受聘为北京大学深圳研究生院教授。独立工作以来,完成了多个具有重要生物活性的天然分子的全合成,并发展了一系列新颖高效的有机合成方法,在Nat. Commun.J. Am. Chem. Soc.Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.等国际顶级期刊发表学术论文100余篇。正在承担或已完成的项目包括国家杰出青年科学基金(2006)、重大项目子课题(2012)和重点项目(2017)、教育部“创新团队发展计划”项目(2011)、深圳市高层次人才团队项目(2019)等;享受国务院特殊津贴(2012);入选中科院百人计划(1999)、新世纪百千万人才国家级人选(2009)、深圳市国家级领军人才(2015)、科技部创新人才推进计划(2016)、获得第三批“万人计划”科技创新领军人才(2017)等。翟宏斌教授的研究方向包含复杂天然产物全合成和有机合成方法学。

Hongbin Zhai got his B.S. from Peking University in 1985 and M.S. from Peking Union Medical College in 1988. After receiving his Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the Ohio State University, he started his postdoctoral research in the Ohio State University with Professor Albert Soloway and afterward in University of California with Professor Henry Rapoport. From 2000, Dr. Hongbin Zhai came back to China and worked as Professor in Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Since 2010, he was appointed as professor and the director of State Key Laboratory of Applied Organic Chemistry, Lanzhou University. He currently is the professor of State Key Laboratory of Chemical Oncogenomics, School of Chemical Biology and Biotechnology, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School since 2015. Dr. Hongbin Zhai received several honors and awards, including Hundred Talent Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences (1999), National Distinguished Young Scholar Program of NSFC (2006), Innovative Team Development Program of Ministry of Education (2012), Innovative Talent Promotion Program of Ministry of Science and Technology (2016), Ten Thousand Talent Program (2017), etc. His research interests include total synthesis of natural products, synthetic methodology development, and heterocyclic chemistry/medicinal chemistry.

讲座摘要/Abstract:

有机化学与生命科学、材料科学等研究领域密切相关。天然产物全合成是有机化学中一个非常重要的研究方向,可为生命科学研究和创新药物研发等提供物质基础。近几年,我们课题组完成了一系列复杂多环天然产物的全合成,代表性目标分子包括:海南粗榧内酯(+)-Harringtonolide,虎皮楠生物碱(–)-Daphnilongeranin B和(–)-Daphenylline,吲哚生物碱(+)-Arboridinine以及Cyclopiane-型二萜天然产物(–)-Conidiogenone B,(–)-Conidiogenone和(–)-Conidiogenol等。这些天然产物分子具有并环、桥环和/或螺环机构,有些分子具有复杂笼状结构,在多环结构中通常具有多个立体中心,包括季碳立体中心,使得这些分子的合成极具挑战性。此外,天然产物通常具有较好的生物活性,例如,(+)-Harringtonolide具有显著的抗肿瘤活性,(–)-Conidiogenone B具有优良的抗菌活性。本报告将着重介绍我组在天然产物全合成领域中的一些代表性成果。

Natural product total synthesis is one of the most exciting research areas in organic chemistry. Our group accomplished the total synthesis of a series of complex and polycyclic natural products in recent years. Representative cases include hainanolide-type diterpenoid (+)-harringtonolide, Daphniphyllum alkaloids (–)-daphnilongeranin B and (–)-daphenylline, indole alkaloid (+)-arboridinine, and cyclopiane-type diterpene natural products (–)-conidiogenone B, (–)-conidiogenone, and (–)-conidiogenol. These natural product molecules have fused, bridged, and/or spiro ring systems, constituting a complex cage-like structure in most cases. Some selected results of our group in the field of natural product total synthesis will be discussed.
