刘波教授,1998年毕业于西南师范大学化学化工学院,获理学学士学位;2001和2004年分别毕业于中科院成都有机所和中科院上海有机所,获理学硕士和博士学位;2004-2007年在德克萨斯大学西南医学中心从事博士后研究。现任四川大学化学学院教授,绿色化学与技术教育部重点实验室课题组长。2014-2016年获基金委优秀青年基金资助,2019年获国家杰出青年基金资助,2020年获国务院政府特殊津贴,2021年入选中国化学会高级会员,2021年入选西南大学“巴渝学者”讲座教授

Prof. Bo Liu received his B.S. from Southwestern Normal University in 1998. He obtained his M.S. from Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry in 2001 and Ph.D. from Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese academy of Sciences in 2004. He joined University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas doing his postdoctoral studies in 2004 for three years. He currently is the professor and the principle investigator at College of Chemistry, Sichuan University. Dr. Liu has received quite a number of awards from the academic societies, including Excellent Young Scientists Fund of NSFC (2014-2016), National Distinguished Young Scholar Program of NSFC (2019), Special government allowances of the State Council (2020), Senior member of China Chemical Society (2021), and "Bayu Scholars" of Southwest University (2021), etc.

讲座摘要/Abstract:

复杂天然产物全合成是合成化学的前沿研究领域,其中拥有多手性中心的复杂环系构建往往是最具挑战性的难点之一。针对不同目标分子的结构特点,找到构建正确立体化学多环体系的切入点是至关重要的。报告将围绕几个萜类天然产物的多环骨架的设计拆解、合成组装和意外发现展开讨论。

Total synthesis of complex natural products is the frontier research field of synthetic chemistry, and one of the most challenging studies is the construction of structurally complex ring system bearing multiple stereogenic centers. Approach to construction of proper stereochemical polycyclic systems is of vital importance. This report will focus on the design, retrosynthetic analysis, synthesis and accidental discovery of polycyclic skeletons in some selected terpenoid natural products.
