Professor Yavuz works on the computer-aided theoretical characterizations of various atomic-scale structural and electronic processes in strong-field physics, organic electronics and perovskite materials. He published as a corresponding author, first author or co-author over 70 SCI papers in high impact factor journals including Science, Nature, Nature Materials, Joule, Advanced Materials, Nature Communications, Science Advances, etc.

讲座摘要/Abstract:

The presentation explores the computational characterizations of organo-halide perovskite materials, focusing on their atomic-scale structural and electronic properties. Using first-principles calculations, force-fields, and machine learning, the research dives into the surface, bulk, and interface behaviors that drive performance in solar energy applications. By providing theoretical insights into these materials, his work contributes to the optimization of perovskites for more efficient and stable solar cells, paving the way for future advancements in renewable energy technologies.
